Arts Week Dover Street Market

Arts Week is an event held during New York Fashion Week that highlights the work of a select group of artists and designers at the Dover Street Market store in New York. This microsite was developed entirely with HTML and CSS, and serves as interactive promotional poster for the event. Animations and hover effects were designed to encourage users to navigate around the site in order to learn more about the creators featured in the event.

This poster was designed to change depending on where the user’s mouse is located, thus, by navigating around the page, users can dynamically alter its visual appearance in real time. The polka dot pattern and colors reference the visual language of the Dover Street Market Store, while the interactivity is a nod to the creative process that the event celebrates.
